The Plot A million years ago the first vampire walked the earth, killing animals to survive. He took a human bride and had many children with her. His name was Menlos. Each child the woman bore was only half-vampire so they could stand the sunlight.
When the first few children were old enough Menlos' had them cross-breed, even though they were siblings. After nine months three of the women gave birth to the first full baby vampires. Menlos sent pairs of his children off into different parts of the world to make more full vampires.
After years of this soon more than half the world was populated by vampires. The humans, who feared the vampires struck back and nearly killed off the vampire race. All except two families of Menlos' descendants. The two families hid in secret for years feeding off of animal blood instead of the preferred human blood.
For years the two families lived in secret until they decided to move to North America. When the twenty-first century hit the U.S.A. the two families decided to make a school where their children could go to and be safe. By this time the two families had brought back the vampire population back though not to its former glory. Both heads of the families had made a pact with the president, there would be no killing of humans in exchange for the vampires freedom in their country.
Vampires were to live freely among humans, only if they could co-exist. Vampires now live freely among humans but are sent to go to a special school called Heart High when they enter their high school years. All vampire children were home-schooled for the past eight grades. You now go to Heart High, a school for teenage vampires. How will you choose to live your life here? What career will you choose when you graduate? You decide your future.
